As of September 21, 2023, the Casco Bay Island Transit District Board of Directors has been notified that the District’s General Manager, Hank Berg, intends to retire after 14 years at Casco Bay Lines. The Board accepted Hank’s notice and thanked him for his service.
Hank’s last day will be December 1, 2023. In the interim, he will continue in his role of General Manager as the Board of Directors initiates a public process to determine new leadership.
More information about this announcement, and an opportunity for public comment, will be provided at the upcoming Board of Directors meeting scheduled for September 28.
